I have been a fan of Clearplay since they started. The earlier, non-HD players, had a few flaws, but worked well. There were problems with some of the movie filters which caused the player to hang up momentarily. The next generation of players seemed to have some serious technical problems, and at one point I thought about cancelling my membership. I decided to speak with their customer support group and decided to give their new HD player a try. I love it. The quality is there. They still have a problem with some of their movie filters, but I have not experienced any hardware issues. It looks like they got a handled on their players.

I owned a Clearplay player that gave out on me. I wasn't surprised because I watch TONS of movies and love that I can watch them without the ickiness. This model is really good, but the actual loading of the movies/filters takes a lot more time than my previous player. Don't get me wrong, it's worth every penny you pay for it. br /The actual filter does bother some people because it's not perfect by any means. It will skip mid-scene, without any sort of smooth transition. But, this is worth it to me.

This player seems to work much better than the previous model. The picture is great and the menu, remote, and functions work much better. I am pleased.
